The game creates lively, engaging discussion and shared activity for the entire table group throughout the dinner.
Each table group needs 2–4 mobile devices to solve the clue challenges related to the selected topics. At short intervals, each mobile device receives several unique clues. By examining, comparing, and discussing these clues, the table group must determine the answer that connects the clues as quickly as possible. The answer can only be found through cooperation.
The game consists of short parts that can be played by each table group during the dinner.
For example, the game can consist of 4 × 12-minute parts: before the starters, before the main course, before dessert, and finally one last segment.
Each table group can progress through the game at its own pace. Not everyone needs to start the part at the same time.
Number of parts: 1–4. Duration of each segment: 10 / 12 / 15 minutes. A different theme can be selected for the clue challenges in each part.
The effective playing time of the game can vary between 10 and 60 minutes.
The game is equally suitable for small groups as well as for events with several hundred participants.
Divide yourselves freely into teams. Team size is flexible, but 1–3 players per mobile device is recommended—choose the setup that feels most natural to you. Different teams may have different numbers of players, and different mobile devices may have different numbers of players.
If four mobile devices are used per team, each team can, according to the recommendation, have a total of 4–12 players. If two devices are used, a team can have 2–6 players.
Team Action Zone uses a variety of methods in its activities that ensure internet searches or the use of artificial intelligence do not provide a significant advantage—if any advantage at all—unlike in traditional quiz questions.
One of our most effective and highly engaging methods is “clue challenges”. In these, teams receive unique clues at short intervals on multiple mobile devices. By examining, comparing, and discussing the clues, the team must determine the answer that connects the clues as quickly as possible.
Examples of topics for clue challenges include: cities, dishes from around the world, drinks from around the world, famous movies, historical events, well-known bands, famous people, famous athletes, famous sports teams, ballets and operas, etc.
In a clue challenge, each mobile device typically receives eight clues at 15-second intervals. With four devices, this results in a total of 32 unique clues. Completing one clue challenge typically takes 1–2 minutes.

Divide yourselves into teams (table groups) and choose a captain whose phone/tablet will function as the team’s main device.
The captain installs the ActionTrack app, downloads the game using the join code, creates a clan for the team, and ensures that the other mobile devices in the team also join the game and the clan.
When a team wants to play, the captain only needs to activate the next game segment. The clue challenges within the segment are delivered to the teams in a randomized order, so listening to other teams does not help.
Once the team has completed the game segment, the mobile devices can be put into waiting mode until the next segment begins.
A representative of the client group has access to a real-time results link that shows the points earned by the teams, the answers submitted by the teams to the game’s clue challenges, and the game statistics. The results link is also available after the event day.
