Participants can be divided in advance into teams (= clans) that together use four mobile devices. Each mobile device can be shared by 1–3 team members so that everyone can clearly see the tasks. The recommended team size is 4–8 people.
The above steps will speed up the start of the event and ensure that everyone can get going smoothly.
Welcome to the FlagHunt game! Split into teams and choose a captain. The captain installs the ActionTrack app, downloads the game using the join code, creates a clan for the team, and joins the clan. From the remaining team members, choose three who also install the ActionTrack app, download the game, and join the clan after the captain. Once the teams are ready, you can start the adventure. Have fun!
Dear participants, a warm welcome to the FlagHunt game! Before we get started, we need to do the following:
Teams (= clans) use a total of four mobile devices. Each mobile device can be shared by 1–3 team members so that everyone can clearly see the tasks. The recommended team size is 4–8 people.
Team sizes may vary – that is not a problem. Choose a team setup that feels right for you.
The captain uses one of the team’s mobile devices (phone or tablet).
The device should be:
relatively new
fully charged (a power bank is recommended)
equipped with a properly functioning GPS
Note: The game cannot be continued on another device, so make sure the device works properly before starting.
Download the free ActionTrack app from Google Play or the App Store. Grant all requested permissions so the game functions correctly.
Captain:
Downloads the game using the join code
Enters their player name
Creates a clan for the team (Clan view → “Create new”)
Gives the clan a name and password
Joins the created clan first by entering the password
If the password is forgotten right at the beginning, the captain can easily create a new clan with a new password.

In this clever, fast-paced outdoor team game that encourages physical activity, team members collect virtual flags that appear in the game area, search for hidden treasures, and form alliances with robbers they encounter. Along the way, teams also solve puzzles and complete various bonus challenges. The team with the highest total score wins.
Each team (= clan) can decide its own game strategy. For example, team members may split up or mostly move together.
Please note: The game itself contains all the necessary instructions.
At the start of the game, each player must first go to the Start Area, which is shown on the map.
The game features virtual flags worth 20–60 points. At any given time, several active flags may appear on the map. Players can go to any of them. By tapping the flag icons on the mobile device screen, players can see the exact flag areas they need to reach.
When three players have visited a specific flag, that flag will soon disappear from all players’ map views, and a new flag will be randomly generated in the game area.
The team that captures the first 10 green flags earns 500 points for all its members.
There are also 10 hidden treasures in the game area, each worth 200–600 points. Players must move around the area to find an active treasure. When a player gets close enough to a treasure, they receive a “Treasure nearby” notification. When they get even closer, the treasure appears on their app’s map. The first player to reach the treasure collects it. After that, the next treasure becomes active for all players to find.
The game also includes five robbers that players can form alliances with. If a player successfully allies with a robber, the robber will steal from members of other clans who come too close. From each robbery, the robber gives a share of the points to the player allied with them.
The game also includes 40 puzzles that appear on the map as the game progresses. Each captured flag reveals one randomly selected puzzle on the player’s map. Solving a puzzle earns valuable bonus points, typically around 100–200 points.
Players can receive various bonus opportunities for a limited time. Staying alert is rewarded!
