The game takes only a moment to start.<\/p>

At the start of the game, participants are divided into teams of four, using four mobile devices per team. If necessary, two players can share a single device to help form teams. Team assignments can also be arranged in advance.<\/p>

Each team\u2019s captain creates a \u201cclan\u201d by choosing a name and password, and then all team members join the clan, starting with the captain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Here’s how to play Treasure islands – the secret of the totem pole:<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Create teams of 4 players, have everyone join their ”clan”, and get ready for a collaborative adventure.<\/p><\/li>

    2. Communicate with your clan members using any teleconference tool, or play face-to-face.<\/p><\/li>

    3. The first player to join a clan becomes the captain. The game features ten challenges (levels), each presented to the captain.<\/p><\/li>

    4. Challenges take place in designated areas of the Treasure Islands.<\/p><\/li>

    5. Move by tapping the \u201cNext Step\u201d icon twice. While moving, you may encounter images needed to solve the challenges, and all images can be viewed multiple times.<\/p><\/li>

    6. The captain also has access to action icons such as \u201cNext Challenge,\u201d \u201cEnter Solution,\u201d and \u201cAsk for Help from the Whisperer.\u201d Simply tap any icon twice to activate it.<\/p><\/li>

    7. Collaboration is essential \u2014 no challenge can be solved alone. Pen and paper are also very useful for completing the challenges.<\/p><\/li>

    8. The captain can attempt to submit solutions to any challenge multiple times.<\/p><\/li>

    9. Each solved challenge awards the clan 100 points, plus a bonus of 0\u2013500 points depending on the time taken.<\/p><\/li>

    10. If a challenge remains unsolved after 10 minutes, the captain may use \u201cThe Whisperer,\u201d which costs 100 points per use.<\/p><\/li>

    11. Reaching the Totem Pole (Challenge 10) and solving the secret without using The Whisperer awards the clan an additional 2,000 points.<\/p><\/li>
