Move & Solve

Move & Solve is an easy and energizing game designed to keep your meeting participants refreshed and engaged throughout the day.

In this activity, small teams take short walking breaks and answer questions that are activated by moving around outdoors. The game content can be customized with your own tasks or incorporate wellness-themed questions developed by the UKK Institute.

Purpose of the game

Move & Solve is ideal for keeping team members both physically and mentally active, while also promoting learning on work well-being or any other desired topic.

The game takes participants outside during breaks, allowing them to walk and solve tasks in small teams. This helps take their minds off the meeting, adding a bit of variety to the usual meeting flow, which aids focus and brain activity for the continuation of the meeting.

At the same time, the game introduces a small competition, which helps boost energy levels and engagement.

The game’s customizable content allows for the inclusion of desired questions and topics.

You can integrate your own, meeting-specific or event-specific questions into the game. Team answers and statistics are visible in real-time, making them immediately useful during the meeting.

Additionally, the game offers the possibility to utilize work well-being tasks created by the UKK Institute, with feedback sections providing teams with deeper insights into each question’s topic.

Game duration and adaptation to events of different sizes

The recommended effective duration of the game is 30-60 minutes.

The game can be organized as a single session or multiple sessions.

In addition to breaks, the game can be experienced at the beginning of the day, for example, as a 30-minute session. During the game, participants’ opinions on desired topics can be asked, and the responses and statistics can be reviewed during the meeting.

The game is perfect for events of all sizes.

It works just as well for small groups as for events with thousands of participants.

Teams can continue playing whenever it suits them. Playing doesn’t need to happen simultaneously, but can be done throughout the day at various times. This makes it easy to manage even large numbers of participants.

Gameplay overview

1. Game start

The game setup takes only a moment.

At the start of the game, participants are divided into teams of 3-5 people. The team allocation can also be planned in advance.

Each team needs one mobile device to join the game by entering the team’s name.

2. Playing

When a team has the opportunity to continue the game, they simply need to step outside and activate the next task.

For example, if it starts raining, outdoor walks can be skipped.

The team can finish the game at any time and resume later.

3. Game results

The representative of the client group has access to a real-time results link, where they can view the points earned by teams, the answers provided by the teams to the game’s questions, and the game statistics. Through the results link, any photos or video recordings made by the teams are also visible and available for download. The results link remains accessible even after the event day.

Game Customization

1. Number of tasks

The game can be customized by adding a desired number of the customer’s own tasks and questions.

Additionally, a selected number of tasks from the UKK Institute’s workplace well-being exercises or questions from TAZ’s question sets can be included.

A typical maximum number of tasks is 40.

1. Order of the tasks

The game tasks can be assigned in a completely random order.

Alternatively, the customer’s own tasks can be given first or prioritized at the beginning to ensure that the teams complete them all.
