TrezrHunt - outdoor adventure game
TrezrHunt is an adventure game where players search the outdoor play area for energy for their clans and activate treasure caves of various colors and sizes. Energy tokens are visible to players when they are close enough. Activated treasure caves appear in surprise locations, and the fastest clan captures each one.
The game also includes treasure chests, tasks, and various bonuses. Victory requires seamless cooperation between clan members, as they must work together to collect energy, solve challenges, and outsmart the competition.
Purpose of the game
TrezrHunt is perfect for encouraging active outdoor exercise, teamwork development, and learning.
The game’s design naturally gets participants to walk several kilometers without them even noticing.
In addition to physical activity, the game emphasizes teamwork. Before the game begins, each “clan” must create a game plan, and during the game, internal communication and strategy in changing game scenarios are crucial for success.
The game also offers learning opportunities through the questions and feedback included in the game, allowing participants to expand their knowledge while engaging in the hunt.
The game allows you to select a desired question topic and include custom questions from the customer.
You can integrate your own, meeting-specific, or event-related questions into the game. Teams’ answers and statistics are immediately visible, allowing them to be used during the meeting itself.
Additionally, the game offers the option to utilize TAZ’s question sets. Your custom questions can be set to appear at the start, ensuring they are addressed early in the game.
Game duration and adaptation to events of different sizes
The recommended effective duration of the game is 60-90 minutes.
The game is organized as a single session without breaks.
It can be experienced at the beginning of the day or after the meeting, for example.
The game is perfect for events of all sizes.
It works just as well for small groups as for events with hundreds of participants. We adjust the game to suit your group specifically (such as clan sizes, energy booster amounts, number of treasure cave capturers, etc.).
Gameplay overview
1. Target of the game
Each clan’s goal is to accumulate as many points as possible.
The main way to earn points is by working together as a clan to collect specific colored energy tokens, which activate the corresponding treasure cave for looting. The fastest clan to loot each cave (there are five different colored caves in the game, each with varying sizes and values) earns points.
In addition, there are multiple other ways to earn points in the game. The game features hidden treasure chests, task checkpoints, and various player/team-level and clan-level bonuses. For example, when a clan has found a total of 25 treasure chests, every member of that clan receives a 500-point bonus reward.
2. Game start
The game start takes just a moment.
At the beginning of the game, participants are divided into clans. The clans can consist of individual players or small teams, each of which only needs one shared mobile device. The clan division can be planned in advance. Each clan has a brief time to strategize before the game action begins.
The game is loaded on each mobile device using the free ActionTrack app by entering your group’s join code. After this, players join the game, provide a player name (or team name), and finally join the agreed clan.
3. Playing
Participants can only see a few nearby objects on the game map, as well as the locations of their clan members’ mobile devices.
Players need to move around the game area to search for energy tokens and treasure chests, which will appear on the map once the player is close enough. Additionally, players will also see checkpoints on the map.
The game progresses dynamically, and communication within the clan plays a crucial role throughout the game. The game will notify clan members whenever something significant is achieved or happens.
4. Game results
The representative of the client group has access to a real-time results link, where the points earned by clans and their members, as well as participants’ answers to the game’s questions and other game statistics, are displayed.
The results link is also available after the event day.

Instructions for players
Here’s how to play TrezrHunt (medium-sized game):
- Join the game using the free ActionTrack app.
- Download the game by entering the provided join code, give your team a name, and join the game.
- Players can create new clans and join clans with up to 10 players. This can be done before the official game time begins, so you can get into action quickly.
- The game features 5 hidden treasure caves, which clans try to raid together.
- To activate each cave, a specific number of colored energy tokens need to be collected by clan members.
- Energy tokens can be found throughout the game area. The regions of different energy colors are marked. Each energy token will appear on the map if a player is close enough to it.
- When the clan has collected enough energy tokens of the same color, that color’s treasure cave will activate and appear on the map.
- The clan whose members reach the treasure cave first can loot it and claim its treasure. Smaller caves contain less treasure than larger ones. The clan should plan which color to focus on first or target multiple colors simultaneously by dividing into smaller teams.
- The smallest treasure cave requires only 10 energy tokens and 2 raiders, while the largest requires 50 energy tokens and 10 raiders. The smallest cave gives each raider one valuable treasure chest, while the largest gives 5 valuable treasure chests.
- The game also features hidden treasure chests, which players can find by walking around the area. A player will only see a treasure chest if they are close enough.
- There are also 15 puzzles that will be presented to players after every 3 energy capsules are collected, as well as task checkpoints that players can visit at any time.
- The clan with the most total points wins.
